#16 – Stulsaft Park

Ah yes, Stulsaft Park. For anyone with kids, it’s “that Crayon park”, nicknamed for the water-gushing gigantic crayons that are activated between May and October.

From the street, it sure doesn’t seem like 42 acres of park. At least if you’re driving by the Farm Hill Blvd. entrance. However, head in through the park entrance on Goodwin Ave, and you’ll be treated a pretty vast area (for a neighborhood park) with plenty of hiking/running trails, picnic areas, and a little creek (though, don’t drink the water!). ┬áJust make sure you mind the now-present-in-every-park signs warning of mountain lions!
