#55 – “Four Alarm Celebration” of Fire Dept’s 150th Anniversary

The Redwood City Fire Department invites the community to join its 150th Anniversary at a spectacular  Four Alarm Celebration  at the beautiful Fox Theatre in Downtown Redwood City. Proceeds from this magnificent night of music and dancing go to the Create-a-Smile Foundation, a non-profit sponsored by the Redwood City Firefighters  Association which gives back to those in our community who are in need.

When? Friday, November 4th, 2011

The Fox Theatre, 2215 Broadway, Redwood City VIP Lounge opens at 7pm Doors open at 8 pm  – Showtime at 9 pm Featuring music by Pride and Joy (www.pridejoy.com)

General admission ticket prices are $20 in advance/$26 at the door. A special VIP Package is available for those who want to enjoy a pre-concert hosted cocktail reception, fabulous hors d’oeuvres, preferred seating, and the opportunity to meet and mingle with Redwood City s finest. This gala celebration is part of the Redwood City Fire Department s year-long 150th Anniversary, which opened earlier this year with a news conference, commemorative badge distribution, and display of historic fire-fighting equipment. Then the fire department and its sesquicentennial were featured during the City s annual 4th of July parade, and now the celebration continues with the upcoming October 6th dedication of a bronze commemorative plaque at the main fire station (10 am, Thursday, October 6, 755 Marshall Street), culminating with the fabulous Four Alarm Celebration at the Fox Theatre on November 4.”
