#54 – Second Annual Redwood City PortFest

The 2nd Annual Redwood City PortFest!

Saturday, October 1st at Seaport Court, off of Seaport Boulevard.

The fun starts at 8 am and goes all day long! Live music, working waterfront tours, fun kids activities, dockside tours of an eco-friendly high-speed ferry boat, food & beverage vendors, info booths, drawing for free door prizes and much more. Go to www.rwcportfest.org for all the details.

The morning kicks off with a pancake breakfast at the Sequoia Yacht Club starting at 8 am, followed by the Redwood City Planning Commission rowing against the City Council for the coveted Golden Oar! Special Note: The very popular harbor tours sponsored by the Marine Science Institute are sure to sell out at only $5 per person. You can make a reservation by visiting the PortFest website at www.RWCPortFest.org and clicking on “Preregister for tours on the Robert Brownlee” to reserve your space. Children on the harbor tour must be over 5 years old, closed toe shoes are required, and you must come to the MSI booth at PortFest 30 minutes before the tour time to purchase your tickets in order to keep your reservation.
