#47 – Sequoia Stampede 5K – Running for a Good Cause

The Sequoia Stampede 5K Run is a fundraiser for Sequoia High School sports programs.  It takes place Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Sequoia High School – check in at 7:30 am, warm up at 8:30 am, and race start at 9 am. That’s just one month away – you can register now by going to http://sites.google.com/site/sequoiaboosterclub/stampede-run.

The Sequoia Stampede is going to be a fun-filled, community event, and it’s one of the core fundraising events for Sequoia Athletics – something our entire community should all support. Families, neighbors, friends, students, athletes, and businesses are gathering together for this event with the common goal of supporting Sequoia High School athletic programs.

The Stampede goals are to raise funds to support all Sequoia sports programs; to bond Sequoia High School and the local community; to involve all athletes, students, and faculty; to involve all of Sequoia’s extracurricular programs; and to create a learning experience for students by allowing them to

help organize the event and volunteer on event day.

Register today, and help Sequoia High School sports!
