#43 – Bethlehem A.D.

Camels, Roman centurions, pottery makers, tax collectors, angels, and a manger. That’s just a small sampling of what you’ll see and smell at Bethlehem A.D.

Touted as aliving Christmas experience for the entire family, this once-a-year production transforms a city block into Bethlehem from 2,000 years ago.

Now in it’s 17th year, this living re-creation of the village of Bethlehem on the night of the first Christmas is a community-wide event that celebrates the real meaning and history of Christmas, regardless of denomination, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

Taking place Dec. 21-23 this year, it’s located at 1305 Middlefield Rd (a short walk south of the RC Main library).
